Guidance wanted: Bijay's university applications
Looking for a graduate who can spend an hour a week reviewing Bijay's essays until December.

I'm Bijay, 18, in my final year of high school. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study journalism.
I have a top-of-class average, I volunteer at a food pantry and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until December. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Thank you so much.

Stay strong. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We're a small family in Wollongong but we're thinking of you. Love from Wollongong.
Good luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Wudil
Wishing you the best, Bijay. Shared it with a few friends. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best.
Sending good thoughts. Shared it with a few friends. Thinking of Biratnagar.
Thanks for sharing this, Bijay. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless.
