Giovanni received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
The closure of the factory left Giovanni short on rent for 2 months; help us stay in our home.

Following a long illness in the family, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Friday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,400.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, we must leave.
I have three school-aged children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $2,400 goes:
• First month of rent as a buffer: $480
• Late fees and court costs: $145
• Rent arrears (2 months): $1,775
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
