Get Zoya back on the road: my motorbike repair fund

Without my motorbike Zoya can't work; a $250 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my motorbike. 8 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $250 goes: • transmission replacement (parts): $115 • Labor charges: $60 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $75 Every share and every dollar helps.

  • Hang in there. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Cầu Giấy donated after I showed her your page.

    • is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Zoya!

      • Good luck. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Zaporizhzhia.

        • Wishing you peace, Zoya. Gave what I could, wish it was more!

          • Take care, Zoya. I hope things turn around soon.

Stay strong, Zoya. Looking forward to the next update. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Winston-Salem.

              • So sorry you're going through this, Zoya. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'll check back for the next update. Blessings.

                • Hang in there, Zoya. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care.
