Get Yodchai back on the road: my school-run minibus repair fund
Yodchai drives for a living in Pattaya, and a broken fuel pump has stopped all income for 8 weeks.
🇹🇠Pattaya, Chonburi, Thailand439 views
I make my living with my school-run minibus. 8 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $350. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $350 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $170
• Labor charges: $65
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $90
• Towing and inspection: $25
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
