I make my living with my delivery van. 8 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $250 goes:
• suspension replacement (parts): $145
• Labor charges: $50
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $30
• Towing and inspection: $25

Thank you all. We're at 28% now ($71). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward towing and inspection.
Quick update: $61 raised so far (24%). we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
