Get Nathan back on the road: my tuk-tuk repair fund
Without my tuk-tuk Nathan can't work; a $1,050 repair would put him back on the road.
🇺🇸 Aurora, Illinois, United States3,012 views
I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 8 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,050. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $700
• Labor charges: $130
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $125
• Towing and inspection: $95
With deep gratitude,
Nathan
