Get Mohit back on the road: my food truck repair fund

Without my food truck Mohit can't work; a $300 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my food truck. 10 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $300 goes: • suspension replacement (parts): $195 • Labor charges: $25 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $40 • Towing and inspection: $40 Thank you for reading my story. - Mohit

  • Hope things get better soon, Mohit. Small businesses are the heart of Thane. Hope you're open again soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
