Get Lourdes back on the road: my pickup repair fund
Lourdes drives for a living in Quezon City, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 3 weeks.
🇵🇭 Philippines1,250 views
I make my living with my pickup. 3 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $250 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $50
• Towing and inspection: $20
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $180
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
