I make my living with my taxi. 10 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $200 goes: • rear axle replacement (parts): $140 • Towing and inspection: $10 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $50 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Updates from Kunle

  1. Quick update: $146 raised so far (73%). I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
