Get Kidist back on the road: my tuk-tuk repair fund
Kidist drives for a living in Gondar, and a broken gearbox has stopped all income for 5 weeks.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 5 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $50. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $50 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $20
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $25
• Labor charges: $5
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Wishing you peace. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Hope you get there. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Nuremberg.
