Get Josiah back on the road: my delivery van repair fund
Josiah's my delivery van is Josiah's only source of income and needs a clutch assembly replacement costing $950.
🇬🇧 Bristol, England, United Kingdom1,551 views
I make my living with my delivery van. 10 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $950. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $950 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $65
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $260
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $625
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
