Get Josefina back on the road: my pickup repair fund
Josefina drives for a living in San Fernando, and a broken transmission has stopped all income for 4 weeks.
🇵🇭 San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines1,358 views
I make my living with my pickup. 4 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $200 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $15
• transmission replacement (parts): $175
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $10
Glad we found this place.

sending love, Josefina. Hope you make a strong comeback. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care
