Get Jack back on the road: my ride-share car repair fund
Without my ride-share car Jack can't work; a $700 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 6 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $700. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $700 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $270
• Labor charges: $250
• Towing and inspection: $180
If you're reading this, thank you.
Updates from Jack
Good news. Because of your gifts ($417 in total) the plan for towing and inspection is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

Hang in there. Hope you get there. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Nagpur.
Small businesses are the heart of Aurora. Hope you're open again soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
