Get Gregory back on the road: my school-run minibus repair fund
Gregory's my school-run minibus is Gregory's only source of income and needs a suspension replacement costing $1,350.
🇺🇸 Washington, United States390 views
I make my living with my school-run minibus. 7 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,350. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• suspension replacement (parts): $1,000
• Labor charges: $200
• Towing and inspection: $150
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Tacoma.
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about suspension replacement (parts), advice is welcome too. Ask me anything else.
sending good thoughts. Gave what I could, wish it was more
what exactly is the $1,350 for?
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. suspension replacement (parts) comes first ($1,000) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. It helps to be asked.
Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings
Sending strength, Gregory. Small businesses are the heart of Tacoma. Hope you're open again soon
Best of luck, Gregory. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Tacoma
rooting for you, Gregory. Hope this works out for you. Blessings.
