Get An back on the road: my motorbike repair fund
An's my motorbike is An's only source of income and needs an engine head gasket replacement costing $150.

I make my living with my motorbike. 4 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 4 children. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $150 goes:
• Labor charges: $45
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $80
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $25
Thank you so much.

Hang in there, An. Hope this works out for you. Love from Bangkok.
Wishing you peace, An. This could happen to any of us. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
Rooting for you, An. Hope the shop reopens soon. We're a small family in Nairobi but we're thinking of you.
Best of luck, An. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
so sorry you're going through this, An. Shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Leeds.
