Get Adhiambo back on the road: my pickup repair fund
Adhiambo's my pickup is Adhiambo's only source of income and needs a gearbox replacement costing $300.

I make my living with my pickup. 8 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $300 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $200
• Labor charges: $55
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $35
• Towing and inspection: $10
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thinking of you, Adhiambo. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 7 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
hope it all works out, Adhiambo. Looking forward to the next update. Take care.
thanks for sharing this. Small businesses are the heart of Jinja. Hope you're open again soon. Blessings.
Thinking of you and your family. Hope the shop reopens soon. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Hope things get better soon. Hope you make a strong comeback. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
