Gas fitter needed urgently: Peyton's home isn't safe
A gas fitter is needed to repair a septic backup at the home of a family of 4.

In August an inspector told me that my home has a septic backup. It's a safety risk for me and my three children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $800 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $220.
The job should take about six hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Wishing you peace, Peyton. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Stay strong. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
Praying for you, Peyton. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Wish I lived closer to Barranquilla so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Sydney.
