Gas fitter needed urgently: Liliana's home isn't safe
Looking for a licensed gas fitter in Manukau to donate time or work at cost.

In August an inspector told me that my home has a septic backup. It's a safety risk for me and my elderly mother. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $620 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $180.
The job should take about four hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Hope things get better soon, Liliana. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. All the best.
Sending strength, Liliana. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My husband and I read this together. All the best.
Hope you get there. We're a small family in Mumbai but we're thinking of you.
