Gas fitter needed urgently: Akoth's home isn't safe
Akoth has a burst pipe behind the wall, and can't afford a licensed gas fitter to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In September an inspector told me that my home has a burst pipe behind the wall. It's a safety risk for me and my two small children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $125 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $30.
The job should take about four hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Hope things get better soon, Akoth. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care
Hope it all works out, Akoth. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Hubballi.

Wishing you peace, Akoth. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together.
