Funeral costs for Valentina's mother, Sarah
After the sudden passing of Sarah, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Sarah, my mother, passed away on 9 May after a long fight with kidney disease. She was 25 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $6,350 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 27 May.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Sarah to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Flint hospice.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,700
• Transport of the deceased: $500
