Nenita, my sister, passed away on 6 August after a stroke. She was 42 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $850 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 10 August. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Nenita to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program. Where the $850 goes: • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $100 • Funeral home services and casket: $690 • Transport of the deceased: $60 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
