Mahin, my husband, passed away on 18 April after a short illness. He was 83 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $800 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 27 April.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Mahin to have a dignified farewell.

The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Transport of the deceased: $40
