Joko, my brother, passed away on 30 August after a short illness. He was 49 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $700 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 10 September. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Joko to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $700 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $410 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $185 • Transport of the deceased: $70 • Memorial gathering for the family: $35 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
