Funeral costs for Marek's grandfather, Stanisław
Stanisław passed away on 13 November; we're raising $1,550 for a respectful funeral in Łódź.

Stanisław, my grandfather, passed away on 13 November after a road accident. He was 53 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,550 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 24 November.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Stanisław to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $410
• Transport of the deceased: $70

Sure. The biggest one is funeral home services and casket, $910. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Good question.
