Jin-woo, my brother, passed away on 25 August after complications from pneumonia. He was 57 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $2,650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 14 September. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Jin-woo to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank. Where the $2,650 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $1,550 • Transport of the deceased: $195 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $905 Please ask me anything in the questions section.
