Vasanthi, my grandmother, passed away on 16 September after a road accident. She was 62 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $550 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 25 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Vasanthi to have a dignified farewell.
