Funeral costs for Cooper's grandfather, Alexander
Cooper lost his grandfather suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $3,300.

Alexander, my grandfather, passed away on 14 December after a short illness. He was 76 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,300 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 28 December.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Alexander to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.

• Funeral home services and casket: $1,900
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $690
• Transport of the deceased: $520
• Memorial gathering for the family: $190
