Friendly visitor needed for an 89-year-old neighbor in Aswan
Looking for a friendly person in Aswan to visit Walid once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Walid, who's 89. Walid lives alone in Aswan, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives 403 kilometers away.
Walid loves crossword puzzles, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Tuesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
