Friendly visitor needed for an 86-year-old neighbor in Tallahassee

Looking for a friendly person in Tallahassee to visit Daniel once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Daniel, who's 86. Daniel lives alone in Tallahassee, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives 594 kilometers away. Daniel loves crossword puzzles, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Friday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. Glad we found this place.
