Friendly visitor needed for an 85-year-old neighbor in București

I'm writing for my neighbor Marian, who's 85. Marian lives alone in București, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives 610 kilometers away. Marian loves opera, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Thursday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
