Friendly visitor needed for an 84-year-old neighbor in Mumbai
An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that's all Mangesh is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Mangesh, who's 84. Mangesh lives alone in Mumbai, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country.
Mangesh loves crossword puzzles, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Friday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
