Friendly visitor needed for an 83-year-old neighbor in Reading

I'm writing for my neighbor Lorenzo, who's 83. Lorenzo lives alone in Reading, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country. Lorenzo loves crossword puzzles, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting.
