Friendly visitor needed for an 82-year-old neighbor in Lethbridge
An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that's all Tariq is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Tariq, who's 82. Tariq lives alone in Lethbridge, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country.
Tariq loves gardening, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Wednesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
