Friendly visitor needed for an 81-year-old neighbor in Nsukka
Kehinde lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Kehinde, who's 81. Kehinde lives alone in Nsukka, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away.
Kehinde loves opera, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Wednesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Sending love. Wishing Kehinde a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Wish I lived closer to Corpus Christi so I could bring a meal.
Hang in there. Hope you get there. My neighbor in Ogbomosho donated after I showed her your page.
