Friendly visitor needed for an 80-year-old neighbor in Detroit

I'm writing for my neighbor Oliver, who's 80. Oliver lives alone in Detroit, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives 420 kilometers away. Oliver loves baking, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Monday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
