Friendly visitor needed for a 92-year-old neighbor in Brooklyn
Looking for a friendly person in Brooklyn to visit Susana once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Susana, who's 92. Susana lives alone in Brooklyn, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country.
Susana loves knitting, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
I hope life is good to you.

Praying for you, Enrique. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Take care

Thinking of you. Wishing Susana a smooth procedure and a full recovery. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
