Friendly visitor needed for a 91-year-old neighbor in San Francisco

I'm writing for my neighbor Shweta, who's 91. Shweta lives alone in San Francisco, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country. Shweta loves knitting, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Friday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
