Friendly visitor needed for a 79-year-old neighbor in Southampton

I'm writing for my neighbor Jose, who's 79. Jose lives alone in Southampton, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives 843 kilometers away. Jose loves baking, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Monday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
