Friendly visitor needed for a 78-year-old neighbor in Nairobi
Looking for a friendly person in Nairobi to visit Joseph once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Joseph, who's 78. Joseph lives alone in Nairobi, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away.
Joseph loves chess, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
