Friendly visitor needed for a 78-year-old neighbor in Manchester
Looking for a friendly person in Manchester to visit Brian once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Brian, who's 78. Brian lives alone in Manchester, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away.
Brian loves chess, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Sunday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Thank you for reading my story.

Thinking of you and your family. Shared this with my family. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
wishing you peace, Daniel. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. All the best.
Sending good thoughts. Hope the doctors have good news. My neighbor in Palmira donated after I showed her your page.
Sending strength. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of Manchester.
rooting for you, Daniel. Hope you get there.
