Friendly visitor needed for a 78-year-old neighbor in Chennai

I'm writing for my neighbor Pavithra, who's 78. Pavithra lives alone in Chennai, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives 302 kilometers away. Pavithra loves gardening, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Monday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
