Friendly visitor needed for a 77-year-old neighbor in Tiruchirappalli
An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that is all Divya is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Divya, who's 77. Divya lives alone in Tiruchirappalli, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives 415 kilometers away.
Divya loves old films, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Tuesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Thinking of you. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
rooting for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. All the best.
