Friendly visitor needed for a 77-year-old neighbor in Nagpur

I'm writing for my neighbor Varun, who's 77. Varun lives alone in Nagpur, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives 245 kilometers away. Varun loves local history, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Sunday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
