Friendly visitor needed for a 77-year-old neighbor in Chiang Mai
Jitra lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Jitra, who's 77. Jitra lives alone in Chiang Mai, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives several hours away.
Jitra loves crossword puzzles, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
