Friendly visitor needed for a 76-year-old neighbor in Jakarta Selatan

I'm writing for my neighbor Satria, who's 76. Satria lives alone in Jakarta Selatan, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country. Satria loves birdwatching, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Sunday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
