Friendly visitor needed for a 73-year-old neighbor in Mombasa
An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that's all Daniel is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Daniel, who's 73. Daniel lives alone in Mombasa, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives 285 kilometers away.
Daniel loves old films, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Tuesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Hope it all works out, Kimani. Hope this works out for you. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best!
keep going. Get well soon. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Blessings
So sorry you're going through this. I hope things turn around soon. After 6 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
You're not alone, Kimani. Shared this with my family. I'll check back for the next update
Wishing you peace, Kimani. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in Le贸n this morning. Blessings.
Praying for you, Kimani. Hope the doctors have good news. My neighbor in Pasig donated after I showed her your page. Take care.
