Friendly visitor needed for a 72-year-old neighbor in Nashik
Looking for a friendly person in Nashik to visit Apurva once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Apurva, who's 72. Apurva lives alone in Nashik, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away.
Apurva loves chess, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Wednesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Thank you so much.

Thinking of you and your family. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best.
Thinking of you, Yash. This could happen to any of us. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.
So sorry you're going through this. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too!
You're not alone, Yash. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
Looking forward to the next update. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.
thanks for sharing this, Yash. Looking forward to the next update. Wish I lived closer to Boston so I could bring a meal.
