French help for Shawn, preparing for the GCSE exam
Online or in-person tutoring in French for a bright student in London.
🇬🇧 London, England, United Kingdom633 views
My nephew, Shawn, is 13 and in the final year of school. Shawn loves school but French has been a struggle since the school was closed during the strikes. The GCSE exam is in July.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in London or online, for about twelve weeks.
Shawn is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in French, you could change the course of Shawn's year.
Thank you for reading my story.

Wishing you peace, Beth. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'll check back for the next update. Blessings!
Rooting for you, Beth. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. I hope July is when things finally get easier. Take care.
sending good thoughts, Beth. Looking forward to the next update. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Mecca.
Good luck, Beth. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
Stay strong. This could happen to any of us. Greetings from San Jose
Sending love, Beth. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
