Freedom Primary School needs a community fridge - Brooks's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $2,700 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Freedom Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $2,700.
It will serve about 81 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• Materials: $1,750
• Permits and inspections: $290
• Safety equipment and signage: $320
• Tools hire and delivery: $340

Materials is $1,750 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Good question.
