Free tutoring hours for Palesa: English writing online or in Soweto
Looking for a patient English writing tutor, 3 hours a week, for 12 weeks.

My younger sister, Palesa, is 13 and in Grade 11. Palesa loves school but English writing has been a struggle since the school was closed during the strikes. The school-leaving exam is in October.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Soweto or online, for about ten weeks.
Palesa is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in English writing, you could change the course of Palesa's year.
Thank you for reading my story.

sending love, Mpho. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Take care.
wishing you the best, Mpho. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Wish I lived closer to Dayton so I could bring a meal. All the best.
rooting for you, Mpho. Study hard! We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
sending love. This could happen to any of us. My neighbor in Bonny donated after I showed her your page. God bless.
Thinking of you, Mpho. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Take care
